Vaccination protocols are based on the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) guidelines and the Feline Practioner Association (FPA) guidelines for vaccinating dogs and cats.

The AVMA recommends only vaccinating for core vaccines relevant to the state in which you reside. For most pets this includes Distemper, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Leptospirosis, and Hepatitis. Depending on your pet's risk factors we may also recommend vaccinating for Bordetella.

In Indiana the state law for rabies vaccination is as follows:

All dogs, cats and ferrets three months of age and older must be vaccinated against rabies. These animals must then maintain an ongoing revaccination protocol as follows: Dogs and cats that are vaccinated with a rabies vaccine whose label recommends annual boosters shall be revaccinated within twelve months of the prior vaccination. Ferrets shall be revaccinated within twelve months of the prior vaccination. Dogs and cats that are vaccinated with a rabies vaccine whose label recommends a booster one year later and triennially therafter shall be revaccinated within twelve months of the first vaccination and shall be revaccinated within thirty-six months of each vaccination therafter.
